Carti — A magnificently talented artist
Playboi Carti, real name Jordan Carter, is one the most highly admired rappers of the decade. Carti was well known for his #1 hit “Magnolia” back in 2017, and from there, he amassed more fans. In the following year, he had teased his fans with “snippets” and “leaks”. Many people have since then created YouTube channels, along with social media accounts that were dedicated to releasing these snippets and leaks before they were officially released.

With the release of this remarkable album, Jordan gained an even larger following. Featuring many great tracks such as “Right Now”, Featuring his talented companion, Pi’erre Bourne, “Middle of The Summer”, featuring another artist named Red Coldhearted, another titled “Foreign” and a freestyle of his titled “Flatbed Freestyle”.
One thing one should recognize is the beat sample. Jordan’s producer did not seek after another sample for the beat, but for those who have known Carti’s music for a long time who have recognized the beat to be of similarity to his 2017 song “Let it go”, just being that the tempo and pitch have changed in speed to flow slow along with the two rappers in the song. It is quite one of the most beautiful melodies that could ever be heard.
Snippets and Leaks
Since 2017, there has been a large number of “leaks” and “snippets” that Jordan has not yet officially released. “Snippets” are essentially pieces of music, being up to 30–50 seconds long, but lengths vary. With the leaks, people have made efforts to “remake” the beats of snippets or leaks, to make them sound as if they were officially released tracks. There are a number of people who engage in this trend of remaking snippets or leaks, one user on YouTube, VLONETROOPS, is well known across many music medias for remaking tracks of leaked audio. Being that it is now 2019, millions of his fans are anticipated for his new album, which is to be titled: “Wholelottared” which many expect popular snippets/leaks like Cancun, and an even better known leak known as “Molly”.
“Molly”
“Molly” is one of many anticipated tracks of the artist. Just the way it sounds, it makes the listener feel surreal in a way, as if they are under the influence. This hit high for many of his fans, receiving incredible feedback and comments from many listeners. It is one of the special tracks that his fans love and admire, and they long to see it featured in his new album, rather than listening to a snippet, or a CDQ leak.
As an artist
Jordan is an extremely artistic creator. He is well known at times for his incomprehensible lyrics, especially in his “Flatbed Freestyle” song. He expresses many things in his music, particularly covering subjects surrounding his life, drugs, sex, and many other things. Carti’s music seems to be hypnotic in a way. His music alters a person’s entire mood, making them feel good, even prompting many to dance to his tunes. He is underrated by many, but despite his haters, Jordan still continues about his ways enjoying making music.
Carti was known to make many songs with another rapper, Lil Uzi Vert. He made “wokeuplikethis” with him back in 2017, also in a song titled “Shoota”. Jordan has also done a song with Nicki Minaj, another rapper named Skepta, and Carti also has done a number of songs with his primary producer, Pi’erre Bourne.
He is an unpredictable artist, and many still wait to this, for him to release the many songs that were leaked to the public. He has established a great reputation for himself with the music he releases, and many have kept tabs on him for when he releases new content. He is unlike any other artist, he is truly unique. And many look forward for better songs, doing so while listening to great remakes of leaks and snippets.
